Deer hunting in Kansas is second to none. We have taken the time to do research in order to determine which parts of Kansas consistently produce trophy bucks. In doing this research we have found that the Flint Hills area produces very large whitetails and the high plains produce very large mule deer. This requires us to  run two camps, but it is the best way to ensure that our clients have the best possible chance of taking the buck of their dreams.

    Maverick Hunts also offers Turkey hunts in the Flint Hills region. The turkey population in this region is very high and we have an excellent success rate with filling two turkey tags. Our Spring Turkey hunts are also a great opportunity for deer hunters to see where they will be hunting in the fall.

    If you fill your tag in the first few days of a Deer hunt, Kansas offers many other hunting opportunities for you. Pheasant, quail, coyote, ducks and geese are just some of the species that can be found in this part of the country.
